Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

The Chapter 7 bankruptcy allows the debtor to obtain a "fresh start".  Upon the filing of the Chapter 7 petition with the court creditors can no longer make any debt collection efforts.  Despite the Bankrtupcy Reform Act being passed in October of 2005, it is not uncommon for debtors to qualify for a Chapter 7 and not repay their debts.  We assist debtors in obtaining protection from creditors, preserving their assets and a obtaining a fresh start.

Chapter 13 Bankruptcy

In a Chapter 13 the debtor files a plan of reorganization along with their bankruptcy petition.  The most common use of a Chapter 13 is to save your home.  The filing will stop foreclosures, wage garnsihments, repossession of automobiles and help you retain your assets.
